Surah E Baqra is the 2nd surah of Quran E Hakeem. The meaning
of Baqarah is “cow”. It is the longest surah of Quran E Hakeem. There
are many benefits and blessings of reciting Surah E Baqarah. The
importance of this Surah is mentioned in Ahadith. It is said by Holy
Prophet (PBUH) that:-
“The Qur’an and those who committed themselves to it will be presented on the Day of judgement, preceded by Surah al-Baqarah and Surah al Imran”.
Benefits of reciting Surah E Baqarah
There are many benefits of reciting Surah E Baqarah.
• It is said by Holy Prophet (PBUH) that:-
“Do not turn your houses into graves. Verily, Shaytan does not enter the house where surah Al-Baqarah is recited"
At another place it is narrated by Sulman e Farsi:-
“Shaytan flees from the house where surah Al-Baqarah is heard"
If a person recites the last 3 verses of Surah E Baqarah Shaytan which are Saytan will remain away from him and his family too. The last 3 verses are:-
To
Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and in the earth. And, whether
you reveal what is in your hearts or conceal it, Allah shall bring you
to account for it. He may then forgive whom He will and punish whom He
will, for Allah has power over everything. The Messenger believed in
what was sent to him by his Lord and (so did) the believers. They all
believed in Allah, His angels, His Scriptures and His Messengers,
(declaring), ‘We make no distinction between any of His Messengers.'
They said, ‘We heard and obeyed: Your forgiveness O our Lord. Unto You
is the return. Allah charges no soul save to its capacity.620 To it what
it strove for and upon it what it earned. ‘Our Lord! Do not take us to
task for what we forgot or erred.622 Our Lord! Lay not upon us a burden
as You laid upon those before us. Our Lord! Do not charge us with what
we do not have the strength for. Pardon us, forgive us and have mercy
upon us. You are our Protector, therefore, give us victory over the
unbelieving people.
• On the Day of Judgment this surah will increase the level of that person in janah. It is mentioned in Hadith that:-
"Read and ascend through the levels of Paradise". " He will go on ascending as long as he recites, whether reciting it slowly or quickly".
So do recite Surah E Baqarah . If you cannot read it as a whole because it is long try to recite the last verses of this surah. May Allah show us the right way (Amen)

• It is said by Holy Prophet (PBUH) that:-
اقْرَأُوا الْبَقَرَةَ فَإِنَّ أَخْذَهَا بَرَكَةٌ وَتَرْكَهَا حَسْرَةٌ وَلَا تَسْتَطِيعُهَا الْبَطَلَة
"Learn
Surah Al-Baqarah, because in learning it there is blessing, in ignoring
it there is sorrow, and the sorceresses cannot memorize it".
• If
we recite Surah E Baqarah regularly Shaytan will not entered in our
house. Hazrat Ali a.s narrated that Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh)
said t that:-“Do not turn your houses into graves. Verily, Shaytan does not enter the house where surah Al-Baqarah is recited"

“Shaytan flees from the house where surah Al-Baqarah is heard"
If a person recites the last 3 verses of Surah E Baqarah Shaytan which are Saytan will remain away from him and his family too. The last 3 verses are:-
• Ayat Ul Kursi
which is the 255th verse of Surah E Baqarah has a lot of blessings. The
person who recites this verse saves himself from many troubles.
“Allah! There is no deity but He: the Living, the Self subsisting by whom all subsist. Slumber does not overtake Him nor does sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Who is there that can intercede with Him save by His leave?548 He knows what lies ahead of them and what is behind them, while they comprehend not aught of His knowledge, save such as He wills. His Kursi550 extends over the heavens and the earth; and their preservation tires Him not. He is the Exalted, the Supreme.”
